Day 71: See More of the World Today
See more of the world today. Take your bus or train one stop too far, then walk and discover everything you normally miss.
NB: Employers may not consider this a good excuse for being late.
Taking the subway stop one farther isn't actually too bad for me, and I get to work so early not many people are there yet. My stop is 34th st. Herald Square and so I took it to 42nd st. Bryant Park. I got out by the huge Bank of America headquarters and walked down 6th ave. past Bryant Park, which is always lovely. I walked past all the bead shops, coffee places, etc. I actually was only about 5/10 min later than usual and it was nice to walk that way in the morning before it gets too crazy.
