I don't understand the significance of the 4th of July, and having lived in the south super hot July and heavy Italian aren't really what I want. But, I really do want to try this place and I've been wanting to get down to New Orleans/Baton Rouge on vacation anyway. So, instead of the 4th of July I made our reservation for December 29th at 8pm. I figure if we aren't able to get out of the country for New Years maybe New Orleans would be a good place to spend it; and if that doesn't work out maybe I'll move it to my birthday and we can go for a long weekend.
